Monday, March 14th, 2016 I had the privilege of being in the company of a room full of women who not only talk the talk but live what they speak! Where was I? (hint: check the title.)

I am still reeling from the passion and purpose that pulsated through the room. Two things stood out to me. One was the question Tamika D. Mallory posed:

We talk a lot. We're great talkers but what are we doing... what are YOU doing?

The other moment that stood out to me was something that Letitia "Tish" James, NYC Public Advocate, said:

Little girls cannot be who they cannot see.

Simple, yet powerful. I left the building inspired even more to live out my purpose and push further.

So to paraphrase my sister (sistah) Tamika D. Mallory... "What are YOU doing to change this world for the better?"
